Adam Matar is an award winning and lifelong real estate developer and entrepreneur, passionate about delivering personalized solutions. Prior to founding Inception Property Group, Adam ran the healthcare real estate investment and development firm Matar Pacific.
Prior to Inception Property Group and its predecessor, Adam led Kaiser Permanente’s real estate department for the Hawaii Region and supported its real estate department for the Northwest Region. In total, Adam has had strategic and day-to-day oversight of over 6 million square feet of healthcare real estate valued at over $1 billion. Since 2011, Adam completed over $100 million in healthcare transactions and developments.
Adam began his career developing commercial properties in Oregon and Washington for private investment groups. These commercial properties ranged from office land development to retail centers to religious facilities.
Adam’s work has been recognized in Forbes Magazine (January 2014, US print edition), Health Facilities Management Magazine (April 2014, print edition cover story), the Business Journals, and local news outlets across the West Coast and Hawaii. Adam is also personally recognized by the Business Journals as a “Forty Under 40”, by Real Estate Forum Magazine as an Emerging Healthcare Leader, by state and federal elected representatives, and has received multiple awards for driving innovative practices in healthcare real estate.
Adam holds a B.A. from Marquette University, an MBA from University of Portland, and Master of Corporate Real Estate from CoreNet Global.
Peter Becronis has been in the commercial real estate field since 1989, and in healthcare since 2006. Prior to Inception Property Group, Peter formed Wembley Realty Advisors to provide healthcare-focused development, financing, leasing, portfolio strategy and asset management services for outpatient and transitional care facilities.
From 2006 through 2014, Peter served as Corporate Real Estate Manager at Kaiser Permanente. Peter’s areas of responsibilities included a portfolio of 3.9 million square feet, individually one of the largest managed healthcare portfolios in the country, 82% of which was outpatient medical space. During his tenure at Kaiser Permanente, Peter worked with senior national, regional and local leaders on portfolio strategy. Peter was a key team member in the acquisition, entitlement and development of 64 acres of land and over 600,000 sq. ft. of healthcare developments (*includes projects still in development). Peter personally managed seventeen improved property purchases totaling approximately 925,000 square feet (and a value of approximately $170 million dollars), and the acquisition of new leases totaling approximately 193,000 square feet. Peter’s duties included negotiating transactions (using intermediary brokers) and managing the due diligence and entitlements for each of these capital transactions. Peter also led Kaiser Permanente’s Design/Build Initiative Team.
Prior to running the healthcare real estate portfolio, Peter managed 1,630,000 of retail, medical office, industrial, and office space, including development of:
– 17-provider medical office building for the County of San Bernardino, CA
– 80-unit high-rise residential project in Downtown Los Angeles (through permitting)
– Several pad retail properties
